I changed my trans fluid and it didn't help the whining noise either. Is it possible that other drivetrain components might be causing the noise? U-joints, rear,etc?

Does anyone know whether the transmission oil in the 5 speed manual comes from the factory with synthetic transmission oil. I have an 07 GT Convertible and I saw a posting from someone who was installing synthetic and someone replied that synthetic was already in there.

I have a 2004 40th with a V-6 and a t-45 5 speed. i am trying to find out where i can get a new set of syncros for it. problem? shifting from 1st to 2nd, it doesn't like to go into the gear, or it will pop out, from 2nd to 3rd, it is as if the syncros aren't there...it will grind untill the RPMS drop enough for it to go in, 3rd to 4th not really a problem, only coming out of 3rd. 4th to 5th...not a problem at all. downshifting...it works pretty well with the only issues being from 4th to 3rd....again..acts like there are no syncros there. and from 3rd to 2nd it will "POP" into the gear after a a second...and letting out on the clutch slowly. any recommendations? assistance that can be offered will be greatly appreciated. cause i am at a loss here.

This is probably the clutch needing adjusting nothing more, I have over 150,000 miles on my T45 and it never has had a problem...a Pro 5.0 shifter helps alot too

ok...adjusting the clutch..never done it before...first Mustang that i have owned that i am doing ALL the work on...any advice? where to look, what tools? and thanks...i do appreciate the help.
