I'm not sure what to do about my wierd turn signals. They are very moody, in that they work and then don't. I know the bulbs are fine becasue when they do work I can see the bulb light up. Sometimes they blink once and not again or sometimes they don't blink OR they begin blinking and then stay lit instead of blinking.

I'd love to know how to get to the wiring and perhaps figure out what to do once i'm there.

maybe its the turn signal switch. i had a ranger that did the same thing, and my eclipse also did the same thing. a new turn signal switch for both cured the problem. but it might be something different for you.

+1, sounds like a loose/poor connection to me. The switch is a good place to start. If that checks out fine, I'd check the turn signal relay(s). I don't know if there are 1 or 2 in the 'Stangs.

I figured it was the switch that's loose. How do I go about taking the steering column apart?
