Just got back from a evening at the track.....Ive been shooting for a 13 second run with out the juice .yes this is a basicly stock 97 gt motor wise ...just on the few minor mods Ive done external ....Any how I got my best ever tonight 14.12 @ 94.4mph ....know its not the greatest but im prettydam proud ....Not bad for having the sucky heads ... I couldnt run my juice because I didnt have a blow off valve exiting my car ...Any how you guys with the pre P I heads hang in there ...

there was plenty of sticky on the right lane so my average 60 ft times were 2.1.....................this was on street tires khumos now left lane was a different story .best i could muster there was a 2.2. must admit ..I toyed around with my shift points .. 5200 was the best point ..any thing higher and I was loosing et....also short shifted 1rst to second madw a big difference

I have only ran the 75 shot so far all i have done was run hotter plugs . this kit is great I have the dry shot AS soon as I get my blow off valve routed out of my car im going to toy with timing .but the 75 shot you are fine with stock parts BUt run hotter plugs ..I am going to hit the dyno here real soon just to see what is going on with every thing

how many miles are on that engine, you might also want a msd window switch and fuel presure regulator, that way you cant run lean or redline the engine and blow it up

My car has 59000 on it I do have a fuel pressure gauge .... also very carefull on getting up near the redline ... ive been shifting on the juice at 5500 so im not near redline

not too bad considering I am running a tenth slower with the headswap at 99MPH with a 2.18 60ft

u might wanna concider that msd switch i think it's all of a 130 bucks. it's cheaper than a new engine and u'll be able to get a tiny bit closer to redline.

How come you ran hotter plugs with the zex kit? Is this due to the 4.6 modular engine. I have the kit in a 5.0, running a 125 shot and Zex recommended two degree cooler plugs? Wonder why the difference? Anyway, great times...pull out the spare, the jack, take of the wipers and antenna, 45 psi in the front tires, bet ya get a high 13!! Good luck.

Any advice on how much juice I can safely shoot on my 99 Gt (stock with 80,000) I'm a college student and this car has to last me till i finish college so i don't want to harm my engine in any way. Would a 70-80 shot be safe with a stock engine.
i meant colder plugs sorry ....yes you could run a 75 shot with no problems
