Default help removing Window Motor...

I attached a picture if anyone wants to have a look...

I got to the motor/regulator (rear driver's side window), and started taking it out. Then remembered my haynes manual said:

Quote:
The regulator arms are under extreme pressure and can cause serious injury if the motor or counter balance spring is removed without locking the sector gear. This can be done by inserting a bolt and nut through the holes in the backing plate and sector gear to lock them together.
But I can't find any holes to stick a bolt into. What would happen if I just yanked the motor out anyway? Are parts going to come flying at me? Will the window come crashing down?

Aye carumba...I wish I knew what to tell you. I dont see anything in the photo that looks obvious. I hope someone a little smarter than me sees this and gives some advice. I would hate for you to get hurt or least of all lose some parts. Good luck.

I guess that warning was only for the full size front windows, because I took out the quarter window motor and nothing horrible happened.

There was nothing back there that could have come flying at me, or stolen a finger, or anything dangerous at all.
