Default HELP!!! I think I might have a problem

Hey guy's I will make this short. I was dusting my engine with a rag and notice some oil at the base of the PVC. I pulled that hose and there was oil in that hose and in that tube the is right next to the IAC. So do I have a big problem please help. I also attached a picture so you can get an idea it is not my engine Thanks in advance guy's

I think it could just be that your pcv valve is bad. You can buy a new for for a couple of dollars, so I would try that and see what happens.

Hey Noslow5oh so how do I remove the PVC do I just pull it out because i tired it and it seemed to be stuck so i stoped because i did not want to break it. So I guess it's not a big problem right

Well, I thought you just had a typo and meant it was the positive crankase ventilation (pcv) but you keep saying pvc so I may not be thinking about the same thing you are. Considering the line is coming from the valve cover and thats where the oil is I would think that part is defective in some way. I really don't know about the 4.6's so I'm gonna back off and let a 4.6 owner that knows a lot more than me help you. Sorry

Yes that is your pcv valve, Like NoSlow 5.0 said just costs a couple of dollars and it does twist off.

I agree with ya NoSlow5oh.When pvc valves go
bad just replce it and end it.

Sorry NoSlow5oh it is the PCV that little thing that is on the valve cover.I will replace it tomorrow because parts store is close today thanks alot guy's Oh ya so there is no problem if there is some oil in that tube next to the IAC I attached a pic so you ca get an Idea

Replace it and it should clean up the problem.If it still leaks
like that I would have the dealership take a look at it.How
do you treat the stang? Eazy or hard? Because heavy
accelaration could cause it to could loose.

Sometimes on hard on the throttle But I will replace it and see if it helps
