Default Mass air meter calibration

Installing a ProM 80 in a 1999 vortech S/C mustang with 30# injectors. What gets calibrated, the meter or the FMU? Will I need Tweecer to do it? Thanks.

there are SEVERAL options.

1. Your MAF has to be calibrated for 30lb injectors.
2. You might need to tune the EEC to take complete advantage of the injector and MAF swap.

A "calibrated" maf only fools the computer (by using different voltage than stock) into thinking it has larger injectors.

The best aproach is to use a custom chip that tells the EEC exactly what you have installed.

If your EEC is correctly tuned you wont need a FMU.
