I am turning a little over 3000 RPM at those speeds with 3.55 gears. Sounds like you have the stock 2.73,2.88 gears? Not positive on the stock gear but it is close to that number.

stock I should have 3.27's. I beleive they upped the ratio in update in 1999.

GTs Stock = 327/331 (same gear)

When my 2000 GT 5 speed T45 was new:
Stock tires with 327 gears: 60 mph = ~1750 rpms
Stock tires with 373 gears: 60 mph = ~2000 rpms

Your tire height changing can act like a different gear ratio also if it is a large enough change.

No problem, I love the 373's if you are going to add Nitrous or boost later, don't get the 410's IMO as with 373 gears and a Positive displacement blower, 1st and 2nd can be hard to hook even from a roll.

Stock 99-04 GTs have 327/331 gears stock (same ratio just depends on who does the math on them)

Stock 03-04 Cobras and Mach 1s came with 355 gear stock if I remember correctly.

I just finished watching some videos and i found this
Mustang 3.73 gears 2k rpm at 70mph
Mustang 4.10 gears 2400 rpm at 70mph. Hoe this solves your question.

okay... I went 60 and it was right at 1,750 rpm so the car must have the stock 3.27's.

Thanks a lot for everyones help and ill see you around
