Question driveshaft slop

So there I was under the 'Stang waiting on my gasket sealer to set up a little bit and I grabbed the driveshaft and gave it a twist to see if it would turn by hand. To my surprise it did, about 20 degrees or so. I'm wondering if someone can tell me if that's normal or abnormal. It seems a little excessive to me.

Mine does that too it seams most of the play is in the transmission. I can turn the wheels when it is on a lift and the rear end seems tight. So all the play is in the tranny. Sometimes I hear some noise when I shift from reverse to 1st gear I think it is the play. I have a 5spd if that helps.
