Default 2001 Mustang Rim Size Dilemma

I have a 2001 mustang lowered 2 inches and I am trying to figure out if 18x9 will fit in the front and 18x10.5 will fit in the rear. Only other problem is I really do not want a low profile tire. Any help greatly appreciated.

those rims will definitely fit, but i'm not 100% how tall of a tire you can get. when i had those on my saleen, i had low profile. i would go to tirerack.com or americanmuscle.com and check out their tire sizes for those rims.
Those rims will look good on your car though, 18's look right on the 94-2004 Mustangs.

You will not rub with those rims. But how tall of a tire do u want? i would say anyting higher then 40 will rub on the front and nothing wider then 245 in the front. 18" isn't as practical as a 17" inch rim.

Just to give you an idea on tire sizes. I have a 2000 Mustang GT with 18" wheels

front: 18x9 w/ 255/35/18 tires - no issues. I have also had 235/50/18 no issues as well. I just think that 50 is too tall for fronts. So I went back to 35's. I think 40's would still look ok.

rear: 18x10.5 w/ 275/40/18 tires - no issues. I did notice though when I park on my driveway sideways (kind of like in an angle as appose to straight in), there is a 1cm gap between my tire and rear bumper, but no rubbing. So, anything wider than a 275 will most likely rub.

Also, my car is drop 1.50 inches.
