I posted before about synthetics and thought I'd follow up with my decision with going with Royal Purple. Mainly the deciding factor was cheaper price and access, I was going to go with amsoil since its been around longer, but most shops I called didn't have it and said they can special order it, so I decided to search around and I came across a Royal Purple Oil Change package with the filter and the 6 quarts of oil for 47 bux and some change on brenspeed.com, so since the price was pretty cheap concidering everywhere I look royal purple is at least 7.50 a quart + shipping, plus they had the free shippin on orders of $50+ so price really was the final deciding factor. I'll make sure to keep ya'll posted on how it goes, hopefully I can finally get my pulley's installed its been takin me a while to get some time together to do so, but hopefully now with the obligation of changing the oil I'll get that done as well. Thx to all who provided me with their knowledge so i could decide what Oil to get.

Then only thing I know about RP is that it protect better your engine, but for the price I will never put that kind of oil...
it prolly breaks down to the same
i change mine every 2000.
oil is formulated to grab sludge, witch is metal shaveings in the form of wear .
synthetics grab it better and stay cleaner longer.
so you change them less than regular oils.
but i change my oil so much, that my oils always clean when it comes out...still some tan hue left in it!.
but u can go further with out changeing oil than i can....then again i love to change oil

oil has to break down slightly to be able to absorb the sludge. after 500 miles or so its broke down enough.
2K is fine with me
because you cant always change it at 3K
or 2K
some times its 21 22 23 24 or 2500 miles.! but shes never been over 3K since ive had her, my truck has NEVER been over 3K
either way u put it RP is great.
i put it in my rear over fluid from the shop...felt a difference right away

I guess it will be anyone's preference to do it any time I have a year with my stang and I had changed the oil just 2 times... But oh well this baby will be sold soon, yup GT coming soon..

Well, I decided to spent the less possible on this car, no major problems, but recently I paid 320 to repaint all the top parts and like 400 for clutch with installation..

Don't buy the hype in independent testing Royal Purple came in 12 out of 14 gear lubes tested and failed 3 tests out right. When it heats up RP breakes down. I am running Amsiol with my new FRPP 4.10s and they are quiet as a mouse. If you are changing oil every 2-3 K than you can run what ever you like for DD but racing is another story.
WTH?? My car is bone stock a stage 2 will be too much clutch, the stage one will be perfect...
ima go with the 2 because i may add a bottle later down the road ( shhh dont tell silverbullet07)
