Question clutch cable squeak?

This issue started a few weeks back about the time I got an awful squeak in my passenger side suspension on rough roads or turning.

Every time I let up on the clutch there's an awful squeak on the drivers side that appears to be coming from under the hood. I cant figure out exactly what it may be so I hope some of you can help.

If you heard it and it stop when you press the clutch is the throw out bearing.. Time for a new clutch..

It does not do it when I compress the clutch pedal. It only does it when I take pressure off the clutch pedal as if I'm taking off from a red light it does a *squeaaaak* about 1/2 way up. I tried the auto adjust on my clutch pedal and my clutch appears to be working fine. No other issues besides a squeak when I decompress the pedal. It's rather loud and sounds like it comes from the driver side hood area not near the tranny, but I suppose it could.

Thanks for the reply

you gave me something to look into, but I dont believe it's the problem since I dont have the other issues people say are signs of the throwout bearing. My problem is just a short chirp or squeak when I decompress the pedal. It is not steady or constant. I'm leaning more towards a cable issue since it's the general area the sound is coming from.
