Default FRPP Spring Question

I am planning on getting the FRPP C performance springs. What would be a good strut/shock to go with. Also, if anybody has them could you let me know if the lowering was noticable, i.e. did the stance of the car look good. Thanks

Here are the specs of FRPP springs.
http://www.allfordmustangs.com/Detailed/56.shtml

The C doesnt lower much, and has front linear rates and are stiff at 650lbs.
You need a good strut at the front, at least TOKICOS (non adjustables), or Tokico Illuminas, Koni, Bilstein.
The rears are softer, so you can do ok with regular Tokicos.

Here is a pic after the FRPP C springs were installed. I also went to 17x9 rim also, which has lowered the profile of the tire a tad bit. I am still running the stock struts and shocks right now and the ride is little rough, other than that, they are functioning just fine.

Thanks for the pics, that helped a lot. I am new to the suspension aspect of mods so I have a few more questions. What is spring rate. I think I know what it is but I want to be certain. I am also planing on MM full length subframes, LCA's, and maybe a strut tower brace. I dont do a whole lot of high speed cornering so I dont think that I need a panhard bar setup. Do you think that the combo that I have will be good for light to light and limited strip use? Thanks again for the help.

Spring rate is the ammount of force required to compress the spring 1 inch.
A 650 spring will compress one inch when 650 lbs of force are applied.

Linear rates springs, compress "linearly" the rate is constant thourght the travel.

Progressive rate springs have "dual rates", at first they compress 1" at a lower rate (say 400lbs) but as they compress more, they get stiffer (say 500 lbs)
Progressives provide a more street friendly ride, but are a bit unpredictable in corners.

Linear rates are mostly used for racing, but they do provide better feedback and response.

The "C" kit combines both types, stiff linear fronts with softer progressives in the rear, it is a nice combo.

As you can see by my signature, I have all you have mentioned and run the 1/8th mile with my car. Launch is great with this set-up at 2500rpm but I still bog, I will be trying higher RPM's next time out. When I had the street tires on, I could pretty much launch at 2000rpm without spinning but anything more and I spun. Shift to second will surprise you at the way the car squats and goes with only a chirp of the tires. I think you will be happy with the set-up you are mentioning. However, be prepared to WANT MORE.
