when i turn on my air condition and ride for awhile it starts running hot any suggestions thanks

I beleive there is a high setting for the fan, when the AC runs. Maybe its not kicking in

Make sure your fan is kicking in when you turn on your AC. If your fan is kicking in, one good thing to do is replace your thermostat. Use one with a 180 degree setting. We used it on my sons 2003 GT and it really made a difference. I would do this no matter what your problem is. However, I'm thinking your thermostat is not openning up wide enough for the coolant to flow through, it may be stuck or jamed. Good luck, Tommy.
