Default exhaust making noises =(

Hey just put on a magnaflow catback a couple months ago, simple bolt on, but one problem is when i get on it somtimes it makes a noise as if a bolt or tool is rolling around the underside of the trunk, like metal on metlal, im positive it isnt a tool rolling around, its just hte best way i can describe the noise because it doesnt make the noise when my foots off the gas....any ideas?

rattling in the exhaust is usually the sign of a messed catalytic converter. especially if you just got a new catback. that kind of eliminates any problems with the mufflers.

Next summer looking to go with:
Bilstien shocks + struts, Lowering springs (brand still TBD (any suggestions?)), MM CC plates, front + rear sway bars, subframes, and upper and lower control arms.
Time to make the pony ride some rails

Run the car with it up on a lift and see if you can hear where it is coming from. Check to make sure the mufflers are not anywhere the driveshaft either.

I'd look at the hangers first, sounds like a probelm there.... do you have the stock mid-pipe or an x?

its stock but im lookin at a catted X-pipe, we found the problem, the hump going over the passenger side axle seems to always break looser and start hitting the body maybe, its hitting something, my dad re aligned it and its fine but im almost positive its just gonna get banged outta place again =(

Take a look at the hangers, they may be stretched or off. Should be a simple fix whatever the cause.
