Default cobra motors ..

how much hp will a stock cobra motor hold ?...

99-01 maybe looking in to doing a swap in to my fox

Not as much as the 03-04 but I'm not sure of an exact number. I think only the crank was forged in the 99-01 motors.

True, only the the crank is forged. If you were to build the motor, forged rods, forged pistons and such and depending on if you have the Teksid or the WAP block, you could push about 1000HP depending on the setup.

The block itself can handle some HP. The weakpoint is the rods/pistons.... I'd say around 500rwhp or so.

it doesnt have the teksid block either. that ended in 98. if your planning on really big numbers, youll want a beefier than aluminum block.
