2004 Mustang brake lights not working

2004 ford mustang gear shift is really hard to get out of park the brake lights are not working tryed replacing the bulbs but still nothing i also check the brake fuses and they were good does anyone have any answers for me

Ok try this. Look under your dash at the brake pedal. You should see this lttle box/ wire harness with two wires coming out of it. This box sends a signal to disengage your shifter from park when the brake is pressed but it also controls your brake lights. One of the wires is most likely loose. You may be able to push the wire back in. If not a dealership has them fairly cheap. Hope I helped
