Nope, just pull the cops one at a time, remove the spark plug, make sure the new one is gapped, put a little anti sieze on the new plug and reinstall, then torque, put cop back on.

Its an easy job, just like described above, no need to pull the fuel rail or anything like that. Personally, platinum plugs are junk for performance, regular copper ones work better, they just don't last as long. I like motorcraft sp505.

u will never notice the difference. the gt's come factory with platinum plugs, so ur car prob has them in there unless they have been changed before. i ran the factory motorcraft replacements when i was naturally aspirated.
The NGKs are OK. I agree with 366 about the preference, though...
DO be carefult torquing them down, remember its an aluminum head with a narrow band of threads! Hand tighten, or where hard to get to, use a piece of hose slid over the top of the plug and turn it.
Crossthreading and overtightening is a real PITA.

my car just crossed the 100 k mark and i bought it at 94k so i m assuming the reason its idling rough. bad mileage etc is cuz the spark plugs are going bad. i checked all the other common suspects

no thrown code. the idle isnt too bad just 1000k at startup and levels out after a few minutes of driving. + crap Gas mileage. spark plugs are my last resort lol
