[19GT98]

I was driving home today in my 1998 GT when I noticed every time I release the clutch pedal (engaging the clutch) there is this squeak/creaking noise. I got home, shut the engine off, and pushed the clutch pedal in and out. The high pitched creaking was still there. I can hear the sound coming from near the transmission. What could it be and what could I do to stop this embarrassing noise?!?

My car was doing same thing and it turned out to be pivot ball up in bell housing thats what clutch fork pivots on i fixed mine very carefully spraying some spray grease on it.I found out this is probably not the best thing to do WHY possible contamination of clutch.So dont spray and save it for when you drop tranny and can see exactly were your spraying.Another thing that could be causing it is your clutch cable.I know what you meen about being embarassing you drive an awesome car and the noise is a horrible sound..
