Crown Vics are tough. I've driven retired squad cars with 100,000 + miles that live out their retirement as EVO vehicles for the police academy and get driven HARD day in and day out and they took everything we threw at them. There is nothing like the smell of tires smoking, exhaust, and break dust after a day of EVO.

The transmission is what I would probably worry about more so than the engine, they seem to have to be rebuilt/replaced more often than the engine it's self.
