Default Engine electrical problem!!! plz help!

hey guys, maybe someone can give me a hand here...

'01 gt, 111000 miles..

ok, i am having problems w 4 cylinders not firing. cops and plugs are working fine. i ran all the checks i could to this part, and so far all this is working fine. im not getting enough voltage/amperage to #1,2,3, and 7 cyl causing them not to fire. ran continuance check on the wires and seems to be fine. now im on that part where the wiring goes from the firewall to the computer. i dont think its gonna be that section of the wiring (hopefully) giving me trouble since its inside the car (dash area, no exposure to elements), so i narrowed it down to the computer.... any suggestions will be well appreciated and taken into consideration. thanks!

Are you throwing codes for those cylinders? If so, I would move one or two of the COPs to other cylinders that aren't showing issues to see if the problem moves.

I have heard of the 4.6L and 5.4L having several COPs fail at one time, especially on trucks. I don't know if it is an end of life failure, power surge or coincidence.

If you have tried all those checks and want the pin outs, pm me your email address and I will send what I can find on the ECU wiring and connector pin outs on my Ford Service DVD (2000-2004 Ford)

In the engine there is a connector with a screw on top to the passenger side close to the wind shield. make sure that is all the way in. if u done any recent work go back and recheck if any pins are bent or other. check all your computer connections and look for any visible damage. Do this with your battery unplug so it can reset. Good luck

Emails sent, I sent you some bonus stuff with DTC codes and a few cross reference tables for DTC / COP / Cylinder reference. Some of the ECU diagrams may come in handy later.
