If you buy it from the store it usually comes with intructions. It is essay but the hard part is the tunning. Also is this blower for a N/A engine? Make sure all main internal parts of the engine have been reinforce if not the blower will kill the stock parts in about a week to 5 weeks.

That doesnt sound right
stock 4.6 engines can handle up to 400 HP without any major issues. you can push the engine pretty good with a blower without forging internals. There are plenty of guys on this board and others that are running Vortechs and have no issues with the engine being stock. Granted your not goanna make as much Power stock than you would with some blot ons, pp, and cams.

Here is a link to a downloadable PDF file for the instructions. Disregard the above advice about the supercharger being for an N/A motor. That doesn't even make sense. Why would you install a supercharger on anything other than a N/A engine?
-Anyways, whatever...here's the instructions.

The stock internals are good for ~400 whp, above that is on borrowed time.
The tune and fuel quality are key to engine longevity.
I have been running my 2000 GT on 8-9# of boost for 2 1/2 years and over 40,000 miles on the completely bone stock engine with a positive displacement Saleen Series IV blower which depending on weather should be putting down 360-380 whp on 93 octane.
My car has 119,000 miles and doesn't smoke, knock or ping. It even got 25.5 mpg on a trip to PA recently.
Just make sure that you don't take short cuts with whatever kit you buy and install an Air / Fuel wideband gauge at least. Some people like to install a fuel pressure gauge too.
I watch mine religiously hover around 14.6-14.8 AFR non boost and then drop to a steady 11.4 at WOT with boost.
You have to up your maintenance intervals and keep it tuned up to make it last. The way my car is running, I expect to put another 80,000 miles on it and I drive it 75+ miles a day.

is it true u have to put on smaller pulleys for the 00 gt in order for the blower to fit?
If you mean on the Saleen Series IV blower, no, I was able to remove the insulation under the hood and run the stock 3.125" pulley on the Lysholm blower until I wanted more boost, then I went with the 2.8" pulley which is the smallest one that will fit on the snout of the blower.
With stock pulley and the hood closed, it had maybe 1/4 inch or less clearance. But it never rubbed the belt on the hood, the hard part was making sure to always close the hood by hand and then press until it clicked. I have heard of people slamming the hoods and cracking the fiberglass if not careful. I've had mine for 2 1/2 years and over 40,000+ miles and no issues.
