Well one thing no one seems to be saying is that the Mach 1 engine is MUCH better than any other stock dohc 4.6 made before it, (esp the Mark VIII which is about the same power as what you have), you should read the posts comparing the heads, however you cannot put much boost into the Mach 1 engine as it does not have forged internals, if you could somehow find a Terminator engine for cheap, yeah you might come out ahead, but in the long run you should just save your money and either supercharge/build the engine you have or sell the whole car and just buy the Terminator. This horsepower addiction is not for the faint of wallet.

But we could both shoot back endless numbers and facts and this and that all day. Like i said we know what we know and will think what we think regardless.

Sorry 99ElecGreenGT for hijacking the thread with info and opinion overload!
no worries guys, i kinda got a kick out of it. But thanks for all your input everyone, much appreciated and it helped alot. As of now, come spring i will be buying a teksid DOHC motor from a cobra or a mach, and putting it in my car. then procharging or vorteching it later on.

I do know the pulley he is running had to be even future modified so it didn't keep rubbing on the eaton's snout.

The Mach 1's heads are gonna have better cooling passages and the Cams are gonna create more torque than the 99-01 Cobras, not a Huge amount though maybe 15 ft lbs peak!
SO oneFAST the only thing you learned in the hour talk was a pulley had to be modified?? haha!
I want dyno graphs from this guy!!

Yeah that guy needs to remove that wing, front clip and side exhaust and I've never seen a shaker hood retained with an Eaton conversion? why the hell would he want to insulate an already HOT running blower? That makes NO sense?
I see he's running a Billetflow upper pulley but if that car is making 600 RW SAE corrected I'll give him my car!! It's NOT gonna happen!

yea the looks arent for me either but its not bad and its not what this car is about and he kept the scoop because its a mach and he didnt want to loose the whole point in having one is what he said.

brutal has a good point tho... the eaton is a very hot running blower.... i get why he wants to keep the shaker... but if he is looking to make power with that eaton..... kinda stupid.
