The motor is pretty stock except for the LT headers, tune, an pulleys its got 35000 miles...i know of its 10:1 compression an thats not the best for boost but if i did whats the best bet...twin screw, 03/04 eaton swap, centrifugal???
Its hard to say because from what I know on a stock motor 10 psi is pushing it and 12 can blow up on dyno or too soon after. 9.5psi is about all Id want to run but Votech them selfs say 10.5psi is safe.
10.5psi std vortech will get you 460+/- HP and 405+/- TQ btw.
What kind of HP and TQ and reliability are you looking for any way??

I've got a buddy with a Kenne Bell 2.1 on 8 psi putting down 466rwhp and 388lbtq. Of course if you build the bottom end you could go higher. But you should be fine with 8 - 9psi on stock internals.

wow those are nice numbers what else has he dont to it other that the kb? if it were my mach id probably run a kb... they sound epic and have the numbers to boast

The best bang for the buck on a stock motor Mach 1 is a 100 shot of nitrous.
As far blowers, the easiest, least expensive route would be to get a slightly used Procharger and intercooler. Running 8-9lbs. of boost, you would see around 450-465rwhp, and a like amount of torque.

Yeah the jury is still out on this guys car, I'm still waiting to see dyno graphs and Vids cause I don't believe it, first it was 600+RW which I refuted so the number went to 550 which is still HIGHLY Doubtful!
My friend has an 03 Cobra that got one of Bob Steigs first Snakebite Stage V+ Eatons with modified rotors and it put down 535RW with a pretty large upper pulley over 3.00 so if he threw on a 2.76 he'd hit around 560, at that point the Eaton is pretty much MAXED out!

You would probably end up on the short end of the stick in the long run if you chose to put nitro on a stock engine.. parts would start burning up left and right. True it probably is the best bang for your buck, but like I said, you'll be buying parts left and right a year down the road.
I also have a Mach 1 and Im contemplating putting on a Eaton m112, the people ive talked to say for only 8 lbs of boost, which is what they set stock in the svt's, it wont put much stress on the engine at all. Its my primary vehicle right now so im trying to make it last, but at the same time, i have this huge urge to bolt on everything i can get my hands on and turn it into the biggest sleeper in town.. kinda at a crossroads right now.
i recommend a procharger, of course in biased bc i have one on my 2v, but if u already love the top end nature of the 4.6 u will love the way the procharger capitalizises on the 3500rpm+ world, yet giving noticable grunt down low.
thats pretty impressive since 500/550 is about tops for an eaton. even ported and with a pulley thats why the cobra guys go to a kb or whipple..
I hope he has a built bottom end because anything over 450 is pushing the stock mach bottom end....
Its a 03/04 block running a ported and polished eaton at 16psi which pulls mid 500 rwhp and mid 600 crank est.
My claim of 600rwhp was my poor memory one night shooting out crank hp not what he ever claimed.
And there no jury out on his Mach.... Ill give him a hard time for me having to keep protecting and backing up his car but his graph's don't lie and neither does he.... the only whole we found was in, like i said, my memory one night.
