Well with the X pipe you are going to get that raspy 4.6 sound. Where as the H pipe will generally give you a lower rumble.

x pipe will be a a little more rapsier but you get more performance out of it, especially low end torque. the way an x pipe works better is that it helps scavenging, which means one exhaust valve pushing out exhaust gasses helps pull out the next valve's exhaust and so on so the engine can "exhale" more efficiently.

H pipe sounds better but does not give the same performance gain. instead, it more equalizes the sound between the 2 pipes. its better for sound than performance.

the sound difference isn't huge between the 2 but is noticeable.

the diffrence is get an h pipe ... really like 2 hp diffrence the x pulls bedder wich means bedder flow. but as stated the h is a lowwer rumble and the x is a formula sound. ive put my car next to a x pipe fallowed by flow 40's mine has and h with flow 40's at a car show and id say 80% went with my car but who knows u might b part of that 20%.
