I have a 02 Mustang GT 5 speed, only upgrades are a K&N CAI, Magnaflow exhaust. It's a daily driver and my intake manifold crumbled where the heater hose connects to the intake manifold. I know I have to replace it, which is the best intake manifold to use? The Ford Racing, the Dorman, I do not plan on doing nitrious are really any other things to the engine. I just want to replace the intake manifold........thanks for your help. Another question, should I replace the heater hose in the valley of the block also?
Probably go for the Typhoon? Whatever you do, don't replace is with the OEM one. Mine busted awhile ago and got a metal replacement which was like $300 less than OEM off ford. Don't get a plastic one, they just suck.
typhoon or the lovely looking p-51 dont get to crazy man i was lookin for mine ended up with the trickflow maniflod 900$ when i coulda got a sick custom one outa texsas i dont know the name of the place its been named on here befor
I have the typhoon it's a good intake but your not going to see a horse power gain like they advertise and for the price in my opinion it's not worth it how many miles are on your stang? If you already have 90000 or Moore and don't plan on putting any kinda power adder than I'd say go oem just make sure to you shop around everyone knows don't buy from ford if you can't find a place look up "tropical automotive" or "bumper to bumper" in fort myers Florida or if your into buying a used oem one with 12,000 miles or a typhoon with about 30,000 pm me I got em both
if you can drop the $800 go with the p51 from foxlake racing. i wouldn't hesitate to say that it is the best intake manifold for the 99-04 GTs. just google p51 intake and you'll see the link for it.

Next summer looking to go with:
Bilstien shocks + struts, Lowering springs (brand still TBD (any suggestions?)), MM CC plates, front + rear sway bars, subframes, and upper and lower control arms.
Time to make the pony ride some rails

I disagree. 90% of Mustang people you talk to, say dont waste your money on an aftermarket one. Unless you are Nitrous or FI.
You accually lose power unless your spinning you motor way past the redline on our cars.
I do agree with mello though, if you truley want a differant intake manifold, go with the P-51 Intake Manifold from Fox Lake. Or maybe even Trick Flow's Intake Manifold. But you would 1. Save money by buying a PI Intake Manifold from American Muscle, and 2. Wouldnt see any gains from it unless you spray or boost

I have 120,000 miles on my baby.......would like to put on a intake manifold with no modifaction........has anyone tried the Reichard Racing 4.6 2V intake manifold.......I would really like to put on a aluminum manifold on her.

is there any way you can help me find that company??
that is a pretty neat design. i would love to be able to convert my throttle body to the big oval design. do you happen to know what the price is for those intakes?

so what everyone is saying is that since I plan on no power mods, just go with the Ford Racing Intake Manifold part# M-9424-P46?
That's your best bet in all honesty. Any of the aftermarket short-runner intakes will hurt you in the powerband you'll be driving on the street most of the time.
