Hey yall, I'm going to need a new serpintine belt soon and I was contemplating doing it myself or having a shop do it. I can change the belt no problem but never messed with a belt tensioner. I can't find anything on it as far as directions, my haynes manual doesn't cover it. It looks like it just has one bolt holding it on. It cant be that simple to replace is it? Some "how to" would be great, thank you.

Not much to it man. I haven't change mine yet, but i've changed many on many different vehicle. I'm not sure if the tensioner arm comes as one part, or if you can buy the pulley and the arm separately, but if your planning on changing the pulley alone, pay attention to the direction the pulley spins. If it spins counter-clockwise it may be reverse threaded. I learned that lesson the hard way on a chevy pickup i had.
