Default 4.6 badge install questions

Hey guys,

I got the awesome 4.6 high performance badges and I was wondering how to get the old sticky crap from the GT badges off with out killing my paint.I figured it would probly be a good thing to ask before i destroy my stang.I can get the gt emblem off with a razor i know that part i just dont want to put anything on my car that will desolve my paint cuz then I would have to kill myself.

dont use a razor. use a piece of floss, moving it back and forth like a saw behind the emblem. it may take longer, but no chance of scratching like a razor would. then use your choice of sticky removers to get the crap off. 3M makes some industrial grade adhesive remover that i really like, but i couldnt tell you where to get it as my shop buys it.

I used a blow dryer to heat up the old emblem glue, than goo gone and a terry clothe, once it was off, I wiped the spot with a alchohol swab to really clean the surface.

One other thing, the alcohol might make the paint a little hazey, at least it did on my car(black paint) use some wax and it'll shine it back up.
