Are there any differences in the exhaust system from the 99+ Mustangs and the 98? Would a cat-back labeled 99+ not fit a 98?

My mac offroad x pipe with wled in flows is loud but a little too raspy, i wanted an h but went with x because of power, but i am gonna get the slp cat back and then the x eventually then headers. Their x u can go from shorty to long tube headers as well as swap cats in and out, a great deal, would have went with this had i known but the mac was cheaper, but the slp u can switch the cats for e-check time, which i am gonna do before thats time.

SLP Loudmouth Cat back with offroad catless H pipe
You won't find anything louder except straight flow glass packs (maybe that is) and top fuel dragsters.
