Exclamation my 2002 Mustang GT cranks but won't start, please help

So its snowing in mississippi (yes it does snow down here haha) and yesterday my car starts up fine and drives well all day. Well today I had to fight with it to get it to start (this was about 6 hours ago). Now I went back out to later and it wouldnt start just turned over and over. I thought it was too cold so i left it alone and got ready for work. So I went out to it, THINKING i was going to work.... WRONG. It just turns over and acts like it will start but never will. I get out pop the hood and check for any disconnected lines, smell of gas etc. I try it a couple more times and finally admit defeat... I even cussed at it at it still wouldnt start. Someone please help, I have to be at work in an hour and have to pick some stuff up before I go in.

Hey, Welcome to AFM!!

I would first try cleaning the battery terminals. If that doesn't work find someone who can try and give you a jump.

When you turn the key on without starting the car, do you hear the fuel pump kick on for a few seconds?

Well wait a sec. I just scanned your post. You may have to reset your fuel pump. It is located in your trunk behind the lining on the left.

The whirring is your fuel pump, so that's more than likely working, and if the reset can't be pushed, then it hasn't been kicked over, so no worries there.

The Theft light wouldn't be flashing, would it?

An engine needs 3 things to run, Fuel Air and Spark. So if you push the Schrader valve, and there's fuel there, you pull a plug, and there's spark there, and there isn't any way for the air not to be getting to the engine, then we have to dig deeper into sensors and things like that.

Have you tried the fuel reset button yet like was mentioned earlier?

Also i would suggest checking your fuses and make sure everything is getting juice

It could be that your Idle Air Control is stuck and is not opening and letting your engine have the air it needs to start. If you press the gas pedal it'll open up your throttle body and allow air to get in that way and if the iac is the problem your car will start but stumble and die at idle
