Default headers and x pipe

hey this is my first post so whats up

i have a question about bassani mid length headers and x pipe w/cats
i want both but places ive researched said the x pipe i need is for the 03 cobra

how does that work or is that just the pipe that doesnt need to be cut and have the extensions that the headers come with welded on

i have a 96 gt covertible with 3:73 rear ; mac cold air intake ; steeda underdrive pulleys ; bbk 70mm throttle body; steeda sport springs; steeda triax shifter ; mac catback exhaust; c&l intake plenum; frpp 9mm spark plug wires; intake spacer ; cobra r rims ; and a styling bar

someone write please

Headers won't help you much right now with your stock heads. You may want to put your money somewhere else that could do you some more good. If you really want some power, I would save up for a head swap.

that header thing sounds kinda wierd. I know their mid-lengths will only bolt up to THEIR x-pipe, so if you got a bassani x-pipe for your years model I don't know why they wouldn't fit. If your's is a 5-speed then you should be fine, but I've heard the mid-lengths won't fit the AOD's, much to my shargin.
other than that, Mana's right, you should look into a set of PI heads. there's a ton of threads about those so you should be able to find plenty of info on the swap if you're interested. welcome to he forum boss!
