Angry 2001 Mustang GT starting problems

Hello everyone. It has been quite a while since I last posted. Working on my master's degree and working full-time. Not alot of free time if you know what I mean. Now to my problem. My car often cranks for a couple of seconds before it turns on when I go to start it. Often times it will crank and not start, so I turn the key back, let it stand for a few seconds, then crank it again and it usually starts. It does not happen all the time, but often enough to be a pain in the ass. I have replaced the oxygen sensors, IAC valve, and even the fuel pump so I know that it isn't a fuel problem. I have not replaced the spark plugs so sense that may be the issue. Anybody else have this problem and what was your solution? If anybody has suggestions, please respond ASAP.

How old is your battery? could be a bad battery/starter cable or could be a weak starter.
