just bought a procharger p1sc with 2 core intercooler palnning on running 10 pounds what kind of power should i be making with the mods i have? 36 pound injectors and a 255lph walbro intank fuel pump will that be enough fuel i know that procharger recomends 42 pound but i can get a great deal on the 36s. anyone think 11's with slicks???
02 black gt 5 speed
K&N, frpp 70mm throttlebody, ported upper plenum, mac long tubes,2.5" flowmasters, tri ax, frpp 3.73's stalker body kit, chrome 03 cobra wheels, sub-frame connetors, new upper&lower control arms
You should be really close to what I'm at. I de-tuned my car a little bit yesterday to 402 RWHP and 408 RWTQ... My boost gauge read 12 PSI at 6000 rpms. Get the 42lb injectors from UPRProducts.com It was $300 for me. High 11's with slicks may be possible, but I'm not even sure if I'll hit high 11's on slicks. I'm hopeful though. I know for sure low 12's is in the picture.
i can get a set of 36 pound for $50 from a friend so if they are enough i am going to get those. i hope to produce the same numbers as you mana4real we have close to the same mods do you recommend getting a new clutch?

i saw an 03 cobra with a procharger running 20 psi of boost, magnaflow c/b, and o/r x pipe only running low 11's in the 1/4 mile. I was a lil surprised that was all he was running. I think they said they were having trouble with the procharger and all the bugs wernt worked out of it yet or something like that, i dunno?
If Mana's engine is putting down 402hp at the wheels, that's pretty close to 450hp at the crank. Not exceeding 80% duty cycle on the injectors, and running 42psi of fuel pressure, you need 42# injectors. If you bump up the fuel pressure to 62psi, you might be able to squeek by with 36# injectors, but IMHO just get the 42# injectors. It's cheaper than replacing a holed piston.

You could get $200 for the 36s on Ebay...at least!

For what year Mustang? They problaby increased fuel pressure. The duty cycle of the injector was also prolly over 100%
Mana4real, there's no reason you shouldn't be in the 11's with slicks. I saw an 01 running 8 lbs boost, exhaust, and slicks run 11:98. My third run with the car, Bassani Mid's, x-pipe, P1sc with 8lbs on road race tires, put down a 1.6 60'. That should've been 11:90's until I missed 3rd.
Consistantly ran 12:40's, spinning 1st & 2nd. Those tires were no good.
As for blackstang20, you should probably stop trying to justify those 36lb injectors. Get the 42 lb injectors, run 93 octane, and save the motor. I'm good friends with Jim Summers over at Procharger and we talk almost everyday. Unless you want to buy new pistons all the time, it ain't worth it. Another issue is if you live in KY you need to find out if the fuel is a winter blend. The cars in Ca. don't have to worry about that like we do. We have to worry about detonation with the winter fuel blends. Spend a little more now and save a ton later!

You're maxed at 80% duty cycle at 42psi. You can run the injectors at 100% no problem. You would only need to run them at 100% under full boost anyway, and you're really only at full boost for a few seconds, so it's not a big problem. I'd say it would be a problem if you had 36# injectors though.
