Default Connecting tach adapter on 99 and up GT's

There is a 42 pin connector on the passanger side fender well. You splice into pin 34 with autometer tach adapter part number 9117...

A lot of people have been asking for this info... I thought I would call them and get the downlow...

Did you tee off of this wire for the adapter, or actually cut it in half like autometer says? From the tach adapter, where does the red wire go, and where does the red&green wire go?

I'm having quite a difficult time hooking this thing up on my car. I found pin #34, and its white, so hopefully i've got the right wire this time (this is a 2000 auto gt).

My son and I did an autometer tach install on his Cavy (can I say that on here? LOL) and we just tied into the wire with a climp-on connector. Worked fine.
