Huh.... I don't have anything hanging lose. Did you find the relay? Maybe it's from there... it's in the right area to take a good jolt from the accident. Sounds like you're on the right track...
I live about 10 minutes from Dave & Busters.
Ya, they had an outbreak of ecoli in the water there a few years back... I'm drawing a blank on the name at the moment. Whitewater I think...

yeah that's it...Whitewater...the office bldg is right nxt door...it looks like a strip mall of offices! I only saw the connector hanging there once I took the fender off...I will check more thoroughly once I get home.
it was a cable that was terminated...it must have been mounted to the fender and came loose during impact...I keep thinking that the fact that the airbags deployed has something to do with the car not starting...
I've looked at my chilton and my owner's manual, and both indicate that the car will start even if the airbags are deployed or are maulfunctioning. It does say that there is a diagnostic system tied to the cars computer for the air bags though.

thanks for checking...I just bought a Haynes manual myself...maybe I need to get the airbag code reset...??? As soon as the weather gets better I will get under the car again and start to troubleshoot the starter.
...just to let you know that I finally got the car started...non-conventionally, but started just the same...I bought a remote starter device that bypasses the ignition switch and connects directly to the starter. It worked! Now it's time to troubleshoot the ignition switch...
I found out where the starter was, finally... After looking at it for hours changing my stock H-pipe out for an X-pipe... It's on the passanger side of the bell housing. I know this is old and you didn't need to know anymore... But ya, that's where it's at
Well I'm glad the you finally got it started, conventional method or not... at least it saves the towing charges to the body shop. Too bad you are so far away, I know a good body man.

actually all I will need is paint...I am getting the fender primed, putting it back myself, and then will get it painted...it was nice 'chatting' with you.
There is a wire near the battery that is a fuse link. If the fuse inside the connection is popped you will get no start at all. I figured this out before I pulled my engine, doing one last compression test. Maybe this could be your problem??

all fixed...there was some wiring on the section under the fender that was
covered up by tubing...the tubing looked fine but the wires under the tubing
were broken...patched the wires and the car started right up!!
the starter would be on the passenger side, it is for my 92. the easiest way to reach it is to work under it. my starter went out 2 days ago so imma get one from autozone when i get the cash. doest ur starter relay click and can u hear ur fuel pump?
