Supercharger for 98 mustang GT

I found a 2001 Eaton SVT OEM Supercharger from a ford lightning 5.4L that has been rebuilt. I was wondering if this would fit on my car? And if it does what brand of parts for the rest of the setup would i have to buy to make this s/c work with my car?

-2002 Grand Prix GT (3.8L V6 with stereo system. DD.)
-1998 Ford Mustang GT (4.6L 2V V8 Automatic, PI Head Swap, 4:10 Gears, 78MM BBK Throttle Intake, CAI, Flowmaster American Thunder Catback Exhaust, A/C Replacement Pulley and a tune.) Summer Car:kooky: Ran 13.84s 1/4 mile with street tires.

TorkTech makes an adapter kit for the Cobra supercharger. But for the cost of everything total, you could piece together a kit that would already fit your car.

I'm not sure about the Lightning supercharger, but I do know you would at least need some kind of adapter. I believe the intake manifold or the throttle body on the Lightning was very tall.

i found the kit on the internet and it says for a 99-04 gt. would that work on my car? but like i said above, what do you mean by piecing a kit together? Also would a full supercharger kit for a 99-04 gt work on my car?

Still wondering if i was to buy the supercharger from the 03-04 cobra with that tork tech kit if it would work for my car? the kit says that its for a 99-04 mustang not a 98. Ive already read that link and it explains quite a bit but doesnt answer my specific questions. I havent seen any superchargers for 325 unfortuately

By piecing together a kit, I mean you look on ebay and Craigslist for a turbo or a supercharger that will work on your car. Then you try to find the other parts you would need. The cost? No way for me to know that. It depends on what you can find and how lucky you can get.

Give TorkTech a call to see if it would work. I'm not sure if any of the intake is different on the pre-99 models.

Hold on, if you put PI heads on a non pi block your compression ratio will be higher than a stock PI engine would be. Higher compression and forced induction like a supercharger on a otherwise stock engine is a recipe for disaster. The reason they say the tork tech kit is for 99-04 is because starting in 99 they had the PI heads with the squarish ports instead of round. You can make the kit work with 99-04 intake manifold gaskets and gasket maker like most guys do to install a PI intake on their non pi heads. If you wanna supercharge and want PI stuff, keep your current non pi heads and bolt in the PI cams.

How many times are we going to see this exact same question. Let me do what you should have done: As you can see, there's no lack of information on doing this swap, and no, I didn't read any of these links, but I'm sure I've posted in quite a few of them.
