Gears Gears and more Gears I just purchased my first mustang 5 days ago a 2001 Gt the previous owner has done some work to the car but I bought it from a dealership, I think it has gears in it but I dont know how to be sure someone was telling me theres a way to jack up the rear end of the car and turn the drive shaft counting the number of rotations, I was wondering does anyone know a way other than going into the rear end to check, I know this my gears are very short compared to other mustangs Ive driven and at 65mph my rpm's are up around 2500-3000 in 5th gear. Any suggestions are very much appreciated.
