Default 2000 Mustang GT tire size

:?:I have a 2000 Mustang GT with the standard tire package, 225-55-16. I would like to go to a larger tire and keep the 16 inch wheels. How much larger can I go without interference?

Go with a 245-50-16 tire. They're a wider tire but they won't mess with your speedometer reading or rub anywhere. My little brother had that size all they way around on his '98 sixer and they looked good and performed well.
