When I bolt on my procharger I'm gonna keep it to 450RWHP just to be safe. I know of other people running 500RWHP or more on the stock short block and I know of other's with blown short blocks. I think 450RWHP is the most you should go if you want it to last a while, but I have only been learning on this subject for a short time, so someone else may be able to help you more.

96-98: 305 hp
99-01: 320 hp

The 96-98 heads have better flow numbers than the 99+ but the newer engines make more power, go figure. Must be the intake and cams.
