Default Help with intake swap questions

I have a crack in the intake manifold on My 1996 Mustang GT. I am looking for suggestions for how best to fix the problem. I am going to replace the manifold but with what i do nt know this is what i have found so far.
Bullit Inatake at Livernois Motorsports
'96-98 4.6L PI Intake Adapter Kit
Reichard Racing

Could somebody please help me make sense of this . if i swap to any of these how much other stuff will i have to change. are any of these a direct swap wit out changing anything else. i am working on a limited budget but i have to get the new intake so i might as well get a little better one. the bullitt has my attention since it is not plastic but i am unsure of what all else has to be changes to make it fit a 96. I have read that head swaps might have to be done or at least the heads from a 99+ wil have to be used. I read through the installation instrucions on this site for the bullit but i need to know iff all of the bullitt parts like throttle cable and all that are necessary to make the swap so it works.

Thank you for all of your help.

well the only kit you could just buy and do would be the 96-98 pi swap kit. All the other kits you would need to swap to pi heads and stuff. The reichard racing intake is only for 99+, and i am pretty sure same with the bullitt. So if you do a headswap you are looking at a whole lot more money (ex. a headswap kit is 1300 new, plus installation, i have received quotes of 1500 for installation).

yeah the aluminum crossover is how ford fixed the problem. You can buy it and install it on your stang.

Default Intake probs

There was a recall on early manifolds; have Ford Dealer get you the info and whether or not you still qualify.

Other thread correct; only do-able swap is to new version of your same manifold or to the Livernois kit using the PI manifold and adaptors. It's worth some HP if a bit pricey.

lotsa manifolds on EBay. As to TBird manifold, would compare part no. to part no.

personally if i had the money i would just get the pi swap kit from livernoise. Yeah it is over priced, but it includes everything you need and you are pretty much gauranteed to not wind up with a vacumn leak or anything like that. Plus it is good for a decent amount of hp. LIvernoise claims like 35.... that may be a lil optimistic but MMFF ran an article saying the problem with pre99 stangs is in the intake and cams and not the heads so much, so the intake may help alot. Also, livernoise says you need a tune... i heard of many people running without the tune on the pi intake with no problems.... so i dunno about that.
