Default BBK off road X Pipe

I installed the Off road X pipe and it is very loud. I also seem to not have the same torque I once had.
Would it be best to install some HI Flow cats?

Is it true the same cats on a GT are on a Cobra?

Current Mods: BBK off road x pipe, cold air intake, 3.73 gears, flowmaster 40 series mufflers.

strap, how loud is LOUD? does is sound nice? are you saying that you gained no sotp power (seat of the pants)? ho flow cats cost about $200 more than the offroad version, the only benefits to a catted x pipe are , emissions and a quiter exhaust. what year/ model mustang do you have?

I would really leave it as it is. It's gonna cost good to have to buy some cats and weld them on, better off spending your money on other mods. As for as losing torque... when i put my off road X on i did notice a slight loss of torque in the lower RPM's but i'll bet you gained a lot more top end.

H-pipes are for more low end torque, x are for more top end.
