Hey my 98 vert has a made a wierd sound in the rear suspension since i bought 7 months ago. When i hit a big dip or go over a speed bump, or anything else that compresses the suspension alot it make a wierd click pop sound. anyone know what it could be? i was thinking maybe the quad shocks? if so would it be better to replace the or eliminate them with control arms...

buckel the rare safty belts and tie up the escape pull thing in the trunk I thought my 2002 was broke but it was just the mettel form the safty belt hiting the side of the car and the escape thing. its worth a try.

I also found this to be true. Another thing I found was that there is a metal ring around the Gas tank inlet tube that came off (had no effect on my car) and was rattling also. I just jammed some rubber in between it and it stopped. The Spare tire and Jack have also made noise and I locked them down real good too. Also the Wood Spare tire cover will clank too. I put That home door & crack sealer foam tape around the perimeter under it and that stopped it.

mines a vert to fold down rear seat, first thing check was the jack, it sounds like a bushing maybe, like something that needs a bushing but doesn have one.... anyone else got a suggestion?
