i have a new 04 Gt and wanted to know what number of how many gt's produced it is. i have found the mach 1 stats and know someone that knows their 04 mach 1's number example(guess) 121 of 4,000. I found several sites online that breakdown a rough estimate of how many "torch red" GT's were on the market but havent found exact numbers. Is there a location on my car that indicates what production number it is? Thanks Conrad

You should be able to contact Ford Motor Company and get the info directly from them. The VIN will tell you which number yours is, but not a real breakdown of which number GT it is, or of course, the color info. etc. All you'll need to provide to them is your VIN number and they can easily do the rest. Whether or not they WILL is the question!! Good luck.

I hadn't realized that no Sonic Blue Cobra's or Mach 1's were made last year, but now I wonder, did they use that color for '04 Mustangs at all?. . . More importantly at the moment, only 72 Competition Orange Cobra's were made and there are 2 of them within 25 miles of me. That's a shocker. I'd have thought they made hundreds of them because there are only about 16K people within 25 miles of me.

They actually made 353 Competition Orange Cobra's (281 Coupes and 72 Verts)

Yeah, I should've been more clear. The two near me are 'verts.
