When I bought my car, I knew beforehand that the fogs had been removed by the previous owner but I figured he just tucked the wiring somewhere and took the lights out because he didn't need them. But lo and behold, I removed the front bumper to see if I could find them and they are completely severed. It's just the wiring right now with electrical tape wrapped all around it. I don't know much about electrical work so that's why I'm here looking for help. Is it as simple as purchasing new OEM sockets and soldering the wires back on? I am not wieldy with this kind of work so do you think a dealer could be a one-stop fix for this sort of thing? Is there any reason you can think of that this was done in the first place other than out of pure hatred and malice?
Thanks for reading all

Soldering isn't too hard at all. You could use an inline splice on the wire or just a standard buttconnector. That kind that a car audio shop would use to wire up harnesses for install.
It's kinda stupid they cut the plugs off. Worse thing they could have done. I have the same problem with the stereo in my Gt...in the trunk they just cut the damn connectors off. Stupid....
Yeah, since I've started this thread I've been doing some homework on wire splicing and repair and I think I've done things a lot trickier than that. I just hope it's the pigtails that are my only problem and he didn't snip them off somewhere else along the way.
I appreciate the help, good luck with yours as well
