Default Steeda ball joints -2000 Mustang GT

Hello, I installed steeda ball joints on my 2000 GT and now when I drive the car the left front joint makes a popping noise. Appreciate any advise. Thanks

Is the car lowered? I know lowered cars have been known to make that noise. My Cobra is 2' in the front, and my balljoints make that sound when I turn my tires. But I actually have the X2's in a box for when I do my front end settup...

Default Ball Joints

Yes the car is lowered two inches but the old joints did not nmake any noise as I changed them out because both boots were ruptured and there was bo way to grease them. Thanks

Yeah I always thought that the sound was from the faulty/worn balljoints. My car makes the same sounds currently, and I was hoping that the furture X2 install would fix it. Backing out of the garage yesterday, it popped, and it sounded like I ran into something. Got out of the car, nothing. I hate it haha

My car did not do this before I changed the ball joints. I am going to see if I can contact Steeda on Monday and see what they say. The ball joints did seem to improve the steering and front end ride but I do not want any issues with a faulty ball joint down the road.

Yeah thats probably the smart thing to do. And if you would, let me know what they say. Like I said i'm about to swap my faulty joints for the Steeda X2's/bumpsteer/CC's. I would greatly appreciate it

Just wanted to let everyone know it was not our ball joints making the noise.

If anyone needs a set of these please give me a shout! I try to take care of the AFM guys.
