O.K. friends, these are the next mods I have on my list to aquire. Accufab T/B & plenum, comp cams, converter, patriot performance stage 3 heads, MAF, and some upper and lower control arms. With that said, any advise on these parts, brand...size...etc. would help greatly. Most stuff will be reused when the money comes to get a D.S.S. 5.0 stroker and some kind of supercharger(worry about that later). But with these mods is there going to be a good power increase with what I already have? Most everything will be put on at once so I only have to dyno tune one time. Should I use SCT when they tune and just sell my predator? Anyway thanks for reading through and giving your thoughts and experience.

That's quite a list...but yeah you can make some pretty good power with that. But the #'s will soar up when you get a supercharger with those components. I have some comp cams in my car...love the sound and it performs really well. Just don't have the heads, which is really holding my engine back on it's power. That will be my next mod. But good list. And just remember, with D.S.S. be prepared to wait a long time for that engine. Think 2-3 months if they don't have it built already. I had to wait almost 3 months for my engine. But they do a great job...so it's worth the wait. Just i didn't have a spare car.
The head/cam swap should be good for 50-65 HP, and YES, you WILL feel it. Happy with my Comp Cams 262AH's but the PI cams are not a bad choice for a street automatic that will seldom be over 5,000 rpm. Certainly don't want to over-cam an auto. Probably want to look at injector size when doing the head/maf install. Didn't see in your sig but suggest you invest in transmission cooler at minimum and some sub-frame connectors that include the cross-rails that tie the seats in. You have to stop for a minute and consider how much horsepower is enough; I can light the tires at 40mph (and probably 60mph) which is a bit scary; car is impossible to hook up now; my car is also bordering on being TOO loud. (11lbs of boost). Point I'm trying to make here is that you can turn the car into something that's really marginal for daily driver use and tough to tune w/the automatic. Considering the money you're willing to spend you could keep your car roughly the way it is and buy a 5-spd 5.0 Fox body that has a bunch of mods done to it already and have both.

Reason: addit. info.
Get the TrickFlow Plenum. It flows better. Also don't forget to get bigger fuel rails and injectors. 19-24lbs should do you right. Before you Supercharge, you may also want to geta MSD ignition kit for better spark and upgrade your alternator to a 200 amp Powermaster. It really makes a difference.

An adjustable fuel pressure regulator might not be a bad idea either, unless you're dead set on getting a blower, in which case the kit should have one in it.

Thanks for all the replies. GREAT info. injectors was a question I had but now I know to get them when I get the heads and cams. For now I just wanted a some good power before I can get the money for the engine and supercharger which realistically probably wont be for quite some time. But it sounds like I should make good power with my list. Subframes are definately going on, I just wanted to make sure I wasnt missing something(like the trans cooler for the stall converter). So the 262 cams are good for a N/A car? Can they be used with a blower also? Not sure what S/C to get. Have it narrowed down to 2, the procharger and the new Kenne Bell 2.2L for 4.6 GTs. I do have another vehicle in my driveway I use for my daily driver, a 2000 chevy silverado p/u. Just picked it up at the ford dealership where my wife works. Its nice to have access to a dealership, anything I dont want to install, I just flip a couple bucks to a tech (which are all friends) and they do it as a side job. As for traction,What tires are good and what size for a 10.5 inch rear rim? How long do the drag radials last on the street? I plan on doing the brakes, suspension and rear end but wanted to get some good power out of my car first. Thanks for reading, I'm off work today so I can keep writing all day, but I wont LOL. Everyone take care and if anything pops in your head about this please let me know, I like having alot of facts and opinions to go from. MAKE ME FASTER

i run a b&m super cooler 19,000 lbs cooler and a trany temp gauge in the summer it neaver goes higher than 175 degrees!! in the fall i put a cover on it so it makes some heat. also try some mega bit lower control arms these things make you hook!!! and dont forget a transgo shift kit, my edge 2600 stall converter works great too and to top off a newer auto get a stand alone tranny computer mine is a baumminator it worth every penny...lets you contol rpm limits,up and down shifts, line pressure, converter lock up.its crazy!!!!!!!

For a 10.5 tire you i would say go with 315's. Drag radials don't really last to long. Nitto I think has the longest lasting drag radial for about 15,000 miles. The BFG's and others I've heard don't last longer than 5,000 miles. So it's up to you and your pockets on what you would get. Me I'm just going with some street tires since I drive the highway alot. But during the summer when I'm not...I may just throw on some drag radials.
A trans cooler will definately be added with my stall converter, saw some converters in the March issue of MM&FF page 73 for $299, are these good or is there some better ones out there? I agree on the tire size a 315. I'll be going with a street tire, prolly wont be hitting the track all that much. 275/40s on the front, should make a good looking combo. Thanks for the help all!

Sorry, one more thing, would it be better to get a dyno tune with SCT and ditch the predator. I could always sell the predator after the tune...just not sure which one to go with
