1996 gt mustang trouble compressing stock "coil" to go back in place
so needed to replace my control arm and tie rod, theyre installed. just trouble re compressing the stock coil/spring to go back in place. need advice and help how to get the job done, what tool to use!!?
weve tried other tools but havent had luck.
sucks!! its been 27 days havent been able to drive my baby because of this stubborn coil/spring
Are you using a spring compressor at all and if so is it an inner or outer? Most parts stores have a spring compressor on the shelf or for rent. The inner is a pain to get out when finished but they are easy to use and the spring wont have a bulky tool hanging off it while you're installing.
