Hello.. Ive had my 01 gt for roughly a year now.. Aside from the steering problems i've had with it i absolutley love the car.. Here's the issue im having
About 5 months into owning the car i noticed a leak looked underneath and noticed the rack was leaking.. they replaced it.. 2 months later it started to leak again.. they replaced it again.. Next day it leaked again replaced yet again.. about 2 months later it leaked again.. they replaced it again.. Now while it hasn't leaked again (yet) It seems my steering is making a bit of noise when rocking the wheel back and forth (There was a new shaft installed as well) I had a friend rock the wheel back and forth and while i couldnt really get close enough to determine where its coming from it seems like its coming from the rack itself.. When rocking the wheel the rack moves approx 3/4 of an inch in each direction.. I checked the two mounting bolts and they are tight as can be.. The mounting bushings look a bit worn.. I was told to get a set of new bushings similiar to this
