Default 351 in a 1999 Mustang - Will it work?

Will a 351w fit in a 99 mustang?
Will I have to change the K member?

You'll have to change everything:

K member to 1994-1995 to accept the pushrod engine
Fuel system from returnless to return
Computer system and full harness, the modular setup will not operate the 351
Headers and midpipe
Transmission, the one in there won't bolt to the Windsor, you'll at least have to change the bellhousing and clutch

forgettaboutit....like a square peg in a round hole, NOTHING is compatible
Just sell the car and buy a 94/95 GT and do the swap...not to mention a stock 351w is a dog without mods

Yes, it'll fit. My friend has a 2000 Mustang which was originally a V6 car. He swapped a junkyard 351 in, upgraded the H/C/I, threw a small shot on it, and it's now a 10-second street car.

Here's the k-member setup I'd recommend:

1994-1995 Ford Mustang Tubular Chrome Moly K Member Kit - UPR Products
