Default 1999 GT Hoodscoop

A couple of weeks ago my son and I each purchased 1999 GT Convertibles on the same day. My sons car is black with a black convertible and mine is laser red with a saddle convertible. These cars look awesome sitting next to each other in my driveway. Each one of these cars has the 35th anniversary badges on the front fenders. My question is, why does my son’s car have a raised hoodscoop and mine does not? Was this an option for that year? What would it take to add a scoop on my vehicle?

Thanks,

Robert

Default fix

it was standerd on the 99th special editions.yours should have one too.the scoop goes on with 3m double-sided tape and a retaining nut.ford parts can hook you up for about 130 bucks.then paint before you install. simple.
