Default Nitrous in my '99 GT

Hello, I have a '99GT with Steeda pulleys and Timing Adjuster. I am thinking about buying a nitrous kit. Can i leave my timing adjuster set to 15 or do i have to retard the timing. I am confused on this because i will not be using the nitrous very often. I will be getting a 150hp nitrous shot, but i think i will have it set to 100hp. Also do i have to change the fuel mixture? thanks for any help

Wet or Dry kit?

Either way a 100 shot is relatively safe providing you back the timing down to stock or retarted 2 degrees and you have all of the safety add ons.

Heres what you need for safe nitrous set up.

Wide open throttle switch---Most all kits should have one if not install one.

Fuel pressure safety switch--If your fuel pressure takes a dump it kills the nitrous so you dont trash your motor.

Window switch--Sets the operating RPM of the nitrous. If you hit the rev limiter on the spray you will be replacing the motor or if you have a wet kit and spray to early you will be replacing the intake.

If you want to spray over a 100 shot a fuel pump upgrade is probably needed.

Make sure to get it on a dyno and check the A/F after you get it installed.

thank you, that helps a lot. So, i guess i have to keep my timing set stock if i want to be able to spray anytime. I don't want to have to get out at a stop light and set my timing when i pull beside a Honda
